About the position

The Technical Project Manager (TPM) at Card Kingdom plays a crucial role in leading and managing technical projects from conception to completion. This position requires a blend of strong project management skills and technical acumen, ensuring high-quality project delivery that aligns with customer stakeholders and enterprise objectives. The TPM will collaborate with cross-functional teams, anticipate challenges, and communicate effectively to navigate technical roadblocks, all while fostering a culture of continuous improvement within the engineering team.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage technical projects from conception to completion.
  • Participate and influence in Prioritization Exercises.
  • Ensure alignment with customer stakeholders and enterprise objectives.
  • Provide regular status reports to the enterprise and key stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure project success.
  • Manage project risks, including mitigation strategies and contingency plans.
  • Drive continuous improvement in project delivery and team performance.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience managing cross-functional and/or cross-team projects with a software and/or robotics delivery focus.
  • Ability to be influential on a highly integrated team of technical and non-technical members as well as working with or managing third party vendors.
  • Technical acumen with experience within any of the following domains - eCommerce, Warehouse Logistics, and/or Robotics.
  • Excellent presentation and communication skills.
  • Effective problem-solving skills.
  • Familiarity with current web development technologies, distributed architecture, and agile development methodology.
  • Ability to proactively identify dependencies/risks and work with your engineering counterparts to mitigate these.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, as well as the ability to think clearly, analyze quantitatively, problem-solve, scope technical requirements, and prioritize tasks.
  • Highly collaborative, and calm in the face of competing priorities and ambiguity.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related technical field.
