Responsibilities

  • Construct, inspect, and repair tracks and other railroad assets.
  • Operate and maintain 26K+ lb trucks safely and efficiently.
  • Perform welding, grinding, and cutting of rail according to BNSF procedures.
  • Maintain records and timesheets while adhering to safety regulations.
  • Engage in daily safety conversations and follow safety policies and procedures.

Requirements

  • Must be 21 years of age or older.
  • Possess a valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) or obtain one within 60 days of employment.
  • Ability to lift and carry up to 60 lbs occasionally.
  • Able to work safely in diverse and extreme weather conditions.
  • Ability to read, write, and communicate in English.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience in welding and truck operation.
  • Knowledge of safety regulations in a railroad environment.
