About the position

The Trade Compliance IT Product Manager at Solventum is responsible for overseeing IT platforms related to trade compliance as the company transitions from 3M Healthcare. This role involves collaborating with various stakeholders to ensure a successful exit from Transitional Service Agreements (TSA) and engaging in the blueprinting of a new ERP ecosystem. The position requires strong project management skills and the ability to manage vendor relationships while supporting system deployment and stabilization activities.

Responsibilities

  • Take IT responsibility for all SpinCo Trade Compliance IT platforms.
  • Ensure successful and timely exit from relevant TSA's (Transitional Service Agreements).
  • Engage in global cross-functional blueprinting of the new ERP eco-system.
  • Learn ERP solution functionality and align business requirements with system capabilities.
  • Design processes, conduct proof of concept, and contribute to functional design development.
  • Support Go-Live and System Stabilization activities during deployment.
  • Develop value propositions and prioritize future solution capabilities with stakeholders.
  • Manage vendor relationships, estimate requirements, provide work direction, and hold vendors accountable.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree or higher from an accredited university and five (5) years of experience in IT project management, system deployment, or system support in a private, public, government, or military environment.
  • OR High School Diploma/GED from an accredited institution and a minimum of fourteen (14) years of experience in IT project management, system deployment, or system support.
  • Experience with designing, developing, supporting, and deploying trade compliance solutions.
  • Experience managing third-party software providers.
  • Proven track record of successfully leading global or regional complex IT system implementations.
  • Familiarity with systems running HCBG supply chain.
  • In-depth knowledge of cloud technology.
  • Excellent project management skills, including managing timelines, resources, and risks effectively.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate across departments and lead cross-functional teams.
