About the position

As a Trade Operations Analyst at Takeda, you will play a crucial role in ensuring accurate order fulfillment for the Biological Distributor and Specialty Pharmacy channels. This position involves collaborating with various internal teams to manage inventory and order processes effectively, while also driving continuous improvement initiatives. Your communication skills will be essential in articulating business situations and solutions to leadership and partners within Market Access.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as a liaison between Trade & Distribution Accounts and internal teams.
  • Collaborate with supply chain groups to ensure timely delivery of customer orders.
  • Act as the key contact for order to cash engagement for strategic accounts.
  • Identify and resolve order management issues, optimizing processes and managing inventory supply.
  • Develop processes and communication plans to enhance business relationships and inventory management.
  • Analyze purchase orders for accuracy and communicate necessary changes.
  • Participate in cross-functional meetings to support quarterly business goals.
  • Support internal and external audits of sales orders as needed.
  • Participate in new product launches and system enhancements.
  • Perform order management and inventory functions in SAP.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience required.
  • Two to four years of experience in pharmaceutical, customer service, or operations required.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills for complex business situations.
  • Efficient time management and coordination of tasks in a regulated environment.
  • Professional knowledge of business processes in the pharmaceutical industry.
  • Problem-solving and computer skills are required, including knowledge of SAP, Word, Excel, Outlook, Cognos, and Access.

Nice-to-haves

  • Knowledge of Takeda products and Specialty Channel and Biological Distributors.
  • Experience working in a matrix environment across multiple business functions.
