About the position

The Senior Project Engineer/Manager at The Andersons will play a crucial role in the Trade & Renewables Engineering team, focusing on project planning and management from conception to completion. This position requires applying engineering knowledge to estimate timelines, anticipate risks, and coordinate project activities, ensuring projects are completed on time and within budget.

Responsibilities

• Provide reasonable and cost-effective project and electrical estimates
• Develop and maintain an appropriate level of knowledge of applicable codes and regulations
• Evaluate and identify all equipment, materials and other resources required for physical completion of projects
• Oversee the development of layout and detail drawings needed for project management
• Manage projects to achieve predicted cost, timing, and functional outcomes
• Act as a technical resource for reviewing existing assets and considered projects, providing guidance related to risk and benefit.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED equivalent required
• Bachelor's Degree with focus in Engineering preferred, Master's Degree a plus
• 5-10 years' relevant experience required in lieu of educational degree
