About the position

The Trade Show and Events Manager is responsible for managing the execution and logistics of trade shows and events to meet business objectives. This role involves providing ongoing support to deliver an effective program of events, including project management, venue and vendor selection, budget control, and post-event analysis.

Responsibilities

• Develops and executes a 1-year business plan ensuring alignment with the overall corporate strategic plan and immediate manager's business plan.
• Plans, manages, and executes external events supporting the company's business development goals and initiatives utilizing project management skills.
• Develops and manages a comprehensive event project plan for all setup tasks, staffing, promotional items, collateral, bookings, and other details.
• Negotiates with vendors and service providers for best arrangements within budget.
• Serves as the point of contact and communicates information for tradeshows and events to key stakeholders.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience plus high school diploma or equivalent.
• Familiarity with marketing automation and CRM.
• 3-4 years of recent, applicable, hands-on events and marketing experience with demonstrated development, project management and execution skills.
• Exceptional time, resource management, and organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize workload and act with urgency, as needed.
• Experience supervising a diversity of events, ranging in size and scope.
• Demonstrated Operational project management skills and experience creating work plans, meeting agendas, budgets, and other collaboration tools.
