About the position

The Trademark Paralegal will support the legal team in various aspects of trademark law, requiring attention to detail and a solid understanding of legal processes. This role is essential for managing trademark-related tasks and ensuring compliance with US and international trademark laws.

Responsibilities

• Provide support to the legal team in all aspects related to trademark law.
• Assist in managing trademark applications and registrations.
• Conduct research on trademark laws and regulations.
• Maintain and update trademark databases and docketing systems.
• Prepare and file trademark documents with the appropriate authorities.
• Ensure confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years' experience in a law firm or corporate legal department dealing with IP or trademark matters.
• Proficiency in using Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Word, Excel, and Outlook.
• Solid understanding of US and international trademark laws and regulations.
• Familiarity with online intellectual property databases and docketing systems.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle matters with discretion.
