About the position

Corporate tech client seeks a Trademark Paralegal to join their team. This position is a 3-6 months contract with the possibility of extension. The role offers a hybrid schedule, requiring the paralegal to be onsite in Cupertino from Tuesday to Thursday. The pay for this position ranges from $45 to $55 per hour, depending on relevant work experience. The Trademark Paralegal will be an integral part of the fast-paced trademark group, focusing on various trademark matters including prosecution and disputes. The ideal candidate will have experience in handling trademark-related tasks and will be expected to perform docketing and paralegal work for the client's Trademark team. This role also involves coordinating with outside counsel under the direction of the team manager, as well as reviewing and analyzing various documents and correspondence related to U.S. and international trademark prosecution and enforcement work. The paralegal will be responsible for extracting pertinent information for entry into the docketing database, ensuring that all trademark matters are managed efficiently and effectively.

Responsibilities

  • Work on trademark matters including Prosecution and Disputes in the fast-paced trademark group
  • Perform docketing and paralegal work for client's Trademark team
  • Coordinate with outside counsel under team manager's direction
  • Review and analyze various documents and correspondence regarding U.S. and international trademark prosecution and enforcement work and extract information for entry into the docketing database

Requirements

  • Experience as a paralegal, preferably in trademark law
  • Strong understanding of trademark prosecution and enforcement processes
  • Proficient in docketing and legal document management
  • Excellent analytical and communication skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks
