Responsibilities

• Prepare and submit trademark applications, statements of use, amendments, assignments, renewals, and other essential filings with the USPTO and foreign jurisdictions.
• Conduct clearance searches using trademark databases, analyze results, and identify any potential conflicts.
• Maintain and track trademark deadlines, ensuring timely updates and monitoring.
• Provide clients with updates on ongoing matters, respond to inquiries, and communicate directly regarding trademark statuses.
• Assist in litigation and enforcement tasks, including preparing exhibits, organizing discovery materials, and conducting relevant research.
• Assist with additional projects and tasks to support the overall success of the trademark team.

Requirements

• At least 3 years of trademark paralegal experience, with a focus on U.S. and foreign filings, oppositions, and trademark clearance.
• Strong skills in CPI, SAEGIS, and Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook); database experience is a plus.
• Excellent organizational skills, communication abilities, and a keen eye for detail.
• Self-motivated and professional with the ability to exercise judgment and operate independently.
• A proactive approach to problem-solving, with an ability to handle deadlines and workload efficiently and professionally.
