Brayman Construction Corporation, a leading heavy civil and geotechnical contractor, is seeking a full-time experienced Trades Career Coach to join our growing team at our headquarters in Saxonburg, PA. The Trades Career Coach will play a crucial role in assisting Team Members in developing professional plans for growth within the organization. This position involves regular meetings with Team Members to discuss their goals, concerns, and long-term aspirations. The Trades Career Coach will be responsible for creating individualized improvement plans for Team Members and composing reports to highlight their progress or setbacks. In this role, the Trades Career Coach will conduct regular meetings with Team Members to build relationships and identify their professional strengths and challenges. The Coach will guide and inspire Team Members to advance in their careers, establishing reasonable time frames for career progression. Additionally, the Coach will create and document individualized development plans for the trades group, plan and implement job coaching strategies, and assess Team Members' career aspirations while developing strategies to address them. Communication with senior management regarding the growth and readiness status of Team Members is also a key responsibility. The Trades Career Coach will assist in providing guidance for Team Members facing professional challenges and will be required to handle confidential and non-routine information appropriately. Strong attention to detail and excellent customer service skills are essential, as well as proficiency in Microsoft Suite applications (Word, Excel, Access, and PowerPoint). This position requires continual attention to detail in composing, typing, and proofing materials, establishing priorities, and meeting deadlines. The Coach will work closely with Field Management and participate in Performance Management as it relates to development, while also leading the Apprenticeship Program and researching applicable training grant funds.
