Responsibilities

• Clean floors by sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, or vacuuming them.
• Gather and empty trash.
• Service, clean, and supply restrooms.
• Clean windows, glass partitions, and mirrors using appropriate cleaning solutions.
• Dust furniture, walls, machines, and equipment.
• Mix water and chemicals to prepare cleaning solutions according to specifications.
• Steam-clean or shampoo and extract carpets.
• Strip, seal, finish, and polish floors.
• Drive or operate powered equipment including ride-on scrubbers or industrial ride-on vacuum cleaners.
• Notify management of needed repairs or additions to building operating systems.

Requirements

• Must be able to perform repetitive motion for extensive amounts of time.
• Must be able to walk long distances.
• Ability to stand for long periods of time.
• Must be able to work independently or with a partner.
• Capable of lifting, bending, stooping, pushing, and pulling heavy loads.
• Must be able to lift and/or carry thirty (30) to fifty (50) pounds.
