About the position

Cultivated Agency is seeking a Traditional Brand Marketing Coordinator to join our team in Hacienda Heights, CA. This full-time position is integral to our marketing efforts for in-house brands in the nicotine, hemp, and cannabis sectors. The ideal candidate will be responsible for implementing and managing traditional marketing strategies that enhance brand awareness, customer engagement, and loyalty. This role excludes digital marketing and focuses on traditional marketing initiatives, which include managing print collateral, coordinating billboard and offline advertising campaigns, merchandising, planning and executing events, conducting market research, and coordinating product launches. As a Traditional Brand Marketing Coordinator, you will play a vital role in executing targeted mailer campaigns to engage potential customers, researching and proposing point-of-sale (POS) materials, and developing in-store display guidelines tailored to various retail environments. You will manage print advertising campaigns in relevant publications and billboards to enhance brand recognition. Additionally, you will scout and plan events, conduct local and nationwide visits to assess marketing opportunities, and develop traditional marketing strategies that align with our brand's goals. Your responsibilities will also include leading and managing street teams, conducting in-depth market analysis, collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless campaign execution, defining key performance indicators (KPIs), and coordinating product launches. This position requires a creative thinker with a strong understanding of traditional marketing principles and the ability to work both collaboratively and independently in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

  • Plan and execute targeted mailer campaigns to engage and convert potential customers.
  • Research and propose POS/POP material to the marketing team.
  • Create an SOP for the placement of POS/POP materials to drive sales and brand visibility inside our wholesale and retail partners locations.
  • Develop and create guidelines based on different various display styles that each retailer has in their store.
  • Manage print advertising campaigns, such as relevant publications or billboards, to enhance brand recognition.
  • Identify and coordinate relevant events, like tradeshows and business to consumer events, to promote our brands.
  • Conduct local and nationwide on-site visits to our partners to assess marketing opportunities and gather insights.
  • Develop and execute traditional marketing strategies and campaigns that align with our brand's goals.
  • Lead and manage street teams to execute marketing campaigns effectively.
  • Conduct in-depth market analysis, including regional, customer demographic, and competition research.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure the seamless execution of marketing campaigns.
  • Define key performance indicators (KPIs) and audit marketing efforts to track success.
  • Coordinate and manage various marketing projects, ensuring they are executed on time and within budget.
  • Plan and coordinate product launches with other marketing team members, ensuring successful market entry.
  • Identify our target demographic and develop strategies to captivate and engage them effectively.

Requirements

  • Three years of experience with planning, developing and executing marketing plans.
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field.
  • Experience in translating qualitative/quantitative data into insights that tell a story.
  • Strong project management skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency in traditional marketing tools and techniques.
  • Creative thinker with a deep understanding of traditional marketing principles.
  • Ability to work collaboratively and independently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Previous experience with traditional brand marketing.
