About the position

The Traffic and Portfolio Manager at BMW of Nashville is responsible for managing traffic and portfolio processes to enhance dealership performance, customer retention, and brand loyalty. This role involves collaborating with dealership teams to implement strategies that meet key performance indicators (KPIs) and drive sales profitability. The manager will oversee the dealership's traffic management compliance, train staff, and ensure effective communication of brand requirements and performance goals.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure 100% compliance with the Traffic Management Playbook.
  • Own in-store structure and maintain Sonic Brand KPI performance.
  • Oversee dealership and brand retention and loyalty efforts.
  • Work with dealership teammates and Brand Traffic Management Director to identify strengths and opportunities.
  • Assist in executing strategies to increase overall Traffic Management performance and dealership sales.
  • Manage the dealership's portfolio process for previous lease and loan customers.
  • Define and communicate the in-store portfolio process to all teammates.
  • Achieve and exceed Financial Services and OEM stated retention and loyalty goals.
  • Implement action plans based on opportunities identified with TMDs and General Managers.
  • Drive standardization of traffic management and retention processes at the department level.
  • Facilitate weekly internet traffic management meetings.
  • Conduct monthly traffic management audits and review call performance daily.
  • Establish processes for converting loyal service customers into sales.
  • Train, coach, mentor, and develop teammates as needed.

Requirements

  • Minimum 2 years automotive retail management experience.
  • Minimum 2 years training and development experience at store or corporate level.
  • Ability to set priorities, multi-task, and achieve goals.
  • Proficient in CDK CRM (Elead).
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong organizational and analytical skills, including planning strategy and problem-solving.
  • Experience in developing strategies and communication.
  • Experience in group facilitation, coaching, and leading teams.
  • Must be technology savvy and current on business trends.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience in automotive sales and customer service.
  • Familiarity with dealership operations and management.
