About The Position

The Traffic Clerk position at Lineage involves monitoring and controlling access to the site, ensuring the efficient flow of truck traffic, and maintaining accurate records of all incoming and outgoing vehicles. The role requires strong attention to detail, effective communication skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment, particularly during the 2nd shift from 2:00 PM to 10:30 PM, Monday through Friday.

Requirements

• Previous experience in a security, guard shack, or customer service role preferred.
• Computer savvy with proficiency in using Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) or similar software.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to accurately record information.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to work outside in all seasons.
• Physically able to walk in and out of the guard shack to check in/out vehicles.
• Flexibility to work shifts, including nights and weekends if required.
• High school diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Log all incoming and outgoing traffic precisely in the Warehouse Management System (WMS).
• Thoroughly screen team members and visitors entering the property by verifying their identity and authorization.
• Record essential details such as driver's license, vehicle, seal numbers, and temperature set points during truck driver check-in/out.
• Maintain accurate records of all incoming and outgoing traffic to ensure compliance.
• Coordinate with drivers, visitors, and internal staff to ensure smooth operations.
• Respond promptly and appropriately to security incidents.
• Follow company policies and safety regulations.
• Provide professional assistance to all parties.
• Identify and implement process improvements.
• Ensure adherence to relevant regulations and standards.
