Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day operations and direct field employees.
• Process employee concerns and problems, and assist in performance appraisals.
• Review traffic control set-ups and plan developments.
• Perform job site inspections and supervise field employees.
• Monitor performance at assigned locations and communicate policy changes.
• Ensure professional image and quality/safety standards are maintained.
• Administer counseling or disciplinary actions as needed.
• Maintain accurate documentation and logs.
• Provide emergency coverage and work on standby status as required.
• Train employees on equipment operation and safety procedures.
• Lead special events, determining street closures and traffic control placements.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED required; Associate degree or technical certification preferred.
• 5 years of experience in the traffic control industry.
• 1 year of supervising experience.
• Valid Georgia driver's license with a satisfactory motor vehicle record.
• ATSSA / NSC Work Zone Supervisor Certification required.
• Excellent computer proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Nice-to-haves

• OSHA 10 certification (preferred).
• ATSSA / NSC Work Zone Instructor Certification (optional).
