Requirements

• Current flagger certification
• High school diploma or GED
• Must be at least 18 years of age
• Valid Washington State driver's license
• Dependable vehicle for commuting to work locations
• Ability to bend, stoop, squat, and lift up to 50 lbs as required.

Nice To Haves

• Experience in utility locating
• Experience in heavy equipment operation such as dump trucks and backhoes
• Familiarity with front loader truck operations

Responsibilities

• Direct and monitor the flow of traffic on construction job sites.
• Communicate specific instructions clearly and courteously to drivers and team members.
• Control flagging paddles to provide guidance to drivers in changing situations.
• Recognize dangerous traffic situations and warn workers to avoid injury.
• Build and dismantle traffic control setups efficiently.
