About the position

We are seeking an Intermodal Trailer Technician in Henderson, CO, responsible for performing routine maintenance and detailed inspections on intermodal trailers. The role involves diagnosing and repairing mechanical, electrical, and structural issues, ensuring compliance with DOT regulations and safety standards, and maintaining accurate maintenance records. Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance and detailed inspections on intermodal trailers.
• Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and structural issues.
• Replace or repair brakes, suspensions, tires, and other trailer components.
• Conduct welding and fabrication as required to ensure compliance with DOT regulations and safety standards.
• Maintain accurate maintenance and repair records.
• Collaborate with other technicians and departments to ensure timely service.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical or vocational training in a related field is preferred.
• Proven experience as a trailer technician, preferably with intermodal or refrigerated trailers.
• Strong understanding of mechanical and electrical systems.
• Proficiency with diagnostic tools and repair equipment.
• Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics.
• Welding and fabrication skills are a plus.
• Valid driver's license; CDL is preferred but not required.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
