Responsibilities

• Inspect, rotate, and perform minor repairs on tires and suspension components.
• Replace marker lights, taillights, and perform basic wiring repairs.
• Adjust and inspect brakes, replace air brakes, and troubleshoot valves, chambers, and airlines.
• Repair or replace roll-up and swing doors, patch roofs, and fix panels or rivets.
• Service liftgates, inspect landing gear, and address broken components.
• Troubleshoot trailer wiring, replace ABS sensors, and ensure DOT compliance.
• Repair wood/composite floors and replace shock absorbers.
• Perform basic maintenance on reefer and heater systems, including PMs and battery checks.

Requirements

• 2+ years experience in related field; shadetree experience considered.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities to successful completion with minimal supervision.
• Knowledge and skills to operate and understand diagnostic equipment.
• DOT certified, or able to perform DOT.
