Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance and repairs on trailer systems in accordance with safety regulations.
• Replace components such as brakes, hubs, seals, and bearings.
• Diagnose and fix issues with electrical systems and lighting.
• Repair or install structural elements, including springs, axles, and framework components.
• Maintain and repair mud flaps, dolly legs, and related chassis components.
• Conduct repairs or replacements on trailer flooring, doors, and side panels.
• Perform welding and work on various trailer parts, including roofs and body panels.
• Follow strict safety and health standards.

Requirements

• Experience in trailer maintenance or a related field is preferred but not required.
• Mechanical skills or hands-on experience in areas like construction or equipment repair.
• Valid driver's license with a clean record.
• Ability to bring your own tools to the job.
• Capable of lifting up to 60 pounds and performing physical tasks such as bending, climbing, and reaching throughout the workday.
• Ability to work independently and complete tasks with minimal supervision.
• Strong attention to detail is necessary.
