About the position

JMC Enterprises Inc is seeking reliable and hard-working individuals for a seasonal position focused on ice and snow removal from tractor trailer tops. This role is crucial for maintaining road safety during winter months, requiring technicians to work in teams to remove snow and ice using ladders and shovels. The job is ideal for those with flexible availability during the winter season, as work is contingent on snowfall.

Responsibilities

• Remove ice and snow from the tops of tractor trailers using an extension ladder and snow shovel.
• Travel between locations to service trailers, alternating servicing duties with team members.
• Document service information using a digital platform after servicing each trailer.
• Lead technicians are responsible for driving the service vehicle and overseeing team safety and service quality.

Requirements

• Must be 21 years or older to drive service vehicles.
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record verified by DMV.
• Experience working jobs requiring manual labor.
• Comfortable using ladders and working at heights of 13ft.
• Physically fit to lift at least 40 pounds.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work well in a team.

Nice-to-haves

• CDL (Commercial Driver's License) is a plus but not required.
• Experience driving company vehicles in adverse weather conditions.
• Experience working outside in cold weather.
