Job Title: Train Control & Sub System Engineer: Purpose of the job: He/she defines the architecture and functionalities of a TC&IS subsystem (PACIS, CCTV, Multimedia, Event recorder, Train Ground Communication, ATC/Safety equipment) in compliance with the different requirements. He/she ensures the integration into the train. Performance Measurement/KPI's: - Quality of his delivery (included sub-contractor delivery): Functional Change Request "defects" number raised < 75% x (Functional Change Request number raised on previous project) - Respect of the delivery planning (included sub-contractor delivery): 100% on time delivery - Level of application of standard Methodologies and Processes: 100% - Continuous improvement or Return on Experience (RoE) management from previous projects: < 0 missing RoE

Responsibilities

• Delivering the subsystem documentation (Requirement Specification and Architecture Description RSAD, Technical Purchase Specification TPS, Interface Control Document ICD).
• Defining and implementing the functional, performance, transverse and train level requirements of the dedicated subsystem.
• Integrating the subsystem into the train (mechanically and electrically).
• Defining the Interface (mechanical and electrical) for the dedicated subsystem.
• Verifying of the subsystem (focus on train level) including design reviews.
• Change and configuration management process for the subsystem on train level.
• Control of changes after design changes including impact analysis.
• Planning and follow up of all activities linked to the subsystem.
• Support sourcing, suppliers, PUs, S&A Engineers, Interior engineers, RAMS engineers, and validation engineers.
