The Train/Trax Operator position at the Utah Transit Authority (UTA) is a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our transit services. Responsibilities
- Safely operate trains and ensure passenger safety.
- Conduct pre-trip inspections and monitor train systems.
- Communicate with dispatch and respond to emergencies.
- Maintain a clean and safe environment for passengers.
- Engage with the community and provide assistance to riders.
- Work collaboratively with team members to meet schedules.
Requirements
- Valid driver's license and a clean driving record.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
- Strong communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends.
