About the position

Ibsecad USA LLC is seeking a Trainee CAD/Revit Draftperson to join our team in Los Angeles, CA. This full-time position offers an exciting opportunity for individuals looking to develop their skills in 3D MEP services model coordination and installation drawings using AutoCAD and Revit. We are looking for an enthusiastic and self-motivated individual who possesses excellent communication skills and can work effectively both independently and as part of a team. The successful candidate will receive comprehensive training within the company, which will cover a variety of tasks including problem-solving, team and project management, lead coordination, workshop drawings, and the production of 3D and 2D CAD/Revit drawings. Additionally, the role will involve conducting site surveys, performing office and site work, and building client relations. As a Trainee CAD/Revit Draftperson, you will be immersed in a dynamic work environment where you will have the chance to learn from an experienced global team. This position is designed to help you grow professionally and personally, as you will be involved in delivering some of the world's most challenging construction projects. Responsibilities

  • Assist in the production of 3D and 2D CAD/Revit drawings.
  • Conduct site surveys and gather necessary data for projects.
  • Participate in team and project management activities.
  • Create workshop drawings for construction purposes.
  • Engage in lead coordination with other team members.
  • Build and maintain client relations.

Requirements

  • Minimum CAD experience, specifically with AutoCAD and Revit.
  • Basic knowledge of building services is advantageous but not essential.
  • Preferred experience with Navisworks.
  • Proficiency in office software such as Word and Excel.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team and independently.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience with Revit (1 year preferred).
