About the position

The Trainer/Content Developer/Curriculum Designer position is a contract role focused on designing and developing training materials for the statewide Child Welfare system (CWS) in North Carolina. The role involves extensive travel, up to 75% of the time, to facilitate training sessions for employees involved in Child Welfare programs. The position requires collaboration with various teams and subject matter experts to ensure effective training delivery.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop practical training and course materials for the Child Welfare system.
• Provide effective and creative classroom and virtual facilitation of training sessions.
• Collaborate with the Training Lead, Applications Lead, Development & Testing teams, and subject matter experts.
• Modify and maintain training materials using tools like Captivate, Camtasia, and Word templates.
• Revise training materials for instruction of adult learners.

Requirements

• 4 years of experience as a Trainer.
• 4 years of experience in Curriculum Development.
• 3 years of experience with Learning Management Systems (LMS).
• 2 years of experience with Adobe software.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience with SharePoint.
• Experience with JIRA.
