About the position

Hotworx Shawnee is a small business located in Shawnee, KS, dedicated to sharing the exciting benefits of a new workout revolution. Our unique program, HOTWORX, combines infrared heat absorption with isometric workouts and high-intensity interval training (HIIT) sessions, providing a workout experience unlike any other. As a Trainer/Sales Associate, you will play a crucial role in promoting our services and ensuring that our members have a positive experience. You will be responsible for maintaining a professional appearance, adhering to our uniform policy, and striving for five-star ratings across various platforms by delivering exceptional customer service. Your role will also involve assisting members with workout instructions, promoting our app, and achieving sales goals for memberships and retail products. You will be expected to engage in marketing and prospecting activities to attract new members and maintain a vibrant studio atmosphere. The work environment is lively and supportive, with flexible working hours and opportunities for growth within the company.

Responsibilities

• Complete a minimum of 25 hours per week unless otherwise noted by management.
• Use the time clock provided to account for all work hours.
• Arrive early, 15 minutes is recommended before all scheduled work shifts.
• Maintain a professional appearance by adhering to the HOTWORX® Uniform Policy & Code of Conduct.
• Strive for five-star online ratings for Yelp, Facebook, Google, and other listing sites.
• Turn negative reviews into five stars by contacting customers and resolving grievances.
• Follow general cleaning and maintenance checklists as assigned by management.
• Complete all daily open/closing procedures and checklists for each shift.
• Ensure that members understand how to use the Burn Off App.
• Provide warm greetings for each visit and assist members during their workouts.
• Promote participation in the Burn Off Challenge and use of the HOTWORX® App.
• Sell memberships and achieve all membership sales goals.
• Sell retail products and achieve all retail sales goals.
• Perform cleaning and maintenance duties with a positive attitude.
• Meet all prospecting and sales goals as required.
• Generate a minimum of 5 new guests per month through the guest pass program.
• Enroll a minimum of 15 new members each month with a closing percentage of 50% or higher.
• Execute one outside promotion each month.

Requirements

• Experience in sales or customer service is preferred.
• Ability to work a minimum of 25 hours per week.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to maintain a professional appearance and demeanor.
• Motivated to achieve sales goals and provide excellent customer service.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience in fitness or wellness industry is a plus.
• Familiarity with social media engagement and marketing strategies.
