Trainer

About the position

The Trainer position is responsible for designing, developing, and implementing training programs for employees. This role focuses on analyzing training needs, creating training materials, and delivering effective training sessions. The Trainer will evaluate the effectiveness of training initiatives and recommend improvements, ensuring that all associates complete their training across various shifts and areas.

Responsibilities

• Designing and delivering training programs.
• Ensuring monthly training calendar completion for Safety and Quality topics.
• Coordinating employee development activities.
• Evaluating the effectiveness of training initiatives.
• Providing feedback to management.
• Maintaining training records.
• Identifying skills training gaps.
• Collaborating with teams to develop solutions to improve performance and productivity.
• Staying up to date with the latest training techniques and technologies and implementing them into programs.
• Collaborating with other areas to ensure proper training execution.
• Providing on-site plant support including training requests, SOPs, OPLs, hands-on training, translations, and other needs.
• Creating and developing effective training process implementation programs and schedules.
• Ensuring all associates complete their training across all shifts, areas, and buildings.

Requirements

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong computer and software skills (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Developer, Canva, etc.).
• Time flexibility to accommodate training for 3rd shifts.
• Creative, innovative, and out-of-the-box thinking.
• Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Motivated and driven to learn and share.

Nice-to-haves

• Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred.
