About the position

The Training Analysis and Feedback (TAF) Analyst position within the Department of Defense is responsible for providing critical feedback and situational awareness to support rotational unit training. This role involves real-time monitoring and data collection to enhance training effectiveness and mission objectives.

Responsibilities

  • Provide feedback and situational awareness in support of rotational unit training.
  • Conduct real-time monitoring to provide tracking, data collection, computer operations, and training analysis for warfighting functions.
  • Gather data to analyze and provide observations from an instrumentation system and field Observer Controllers for After Action Reviews (AARs), Take Home Packages, and other output products.
  • Analyze training data to make recommendations for improvement or changes that will enhance the attainability of training mission objectives.

Requirements

  • Must possess or be able to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance.
  • Must possess or be able to obtain and maintain a valid Driver's License.
  • Must possess or be able to obtain and maintain a Military Driver's License.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience in military training environments.
  • Familiarity with data analysis tools and software.
