About the position

The Training Analyst/Instructional Designer at Clean Harbors is responsible for managing and supporting systems training activities, which includes the development of eLearning content and instructor-led training sessions. This role focuses on instructional design for basic training needs related to standard business processes and company policies, while also providing reactive support for business users in areas such as CRM Systems and PeopleSoft applications. The position involves maintaining learning resources in document management systems like SharePoint and the Learning Management System (LMS).

Responsibilities

  • Manage and support systems training activities through the development of eLearning content and instructor-led training.
  • Conduct regular audience analysis for training needs using MS Excel.
  • Assist with the implementation and rollout of new business systems and training programs related to CRM Systems, WIN, PeopleSoft, and LMS.
  • Support training and development programs for assigned user audiences by maintaining existing courseware.
  • Create queries and reports in Oracle.
  • Perform LMS administrative tasks as required in Oracle.
  • Manage and execute all department vendor POs and invoices.
  • Report on vendor activity regularly.
  • Engage in instructional design using Articulate Storyline and other platforms.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree preferred.
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills required.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Organizational skills to manage multiple projects at various stages of completion.
  • Strong communication skills to effectively interact with Subject Matter Experts.
  • Strong technical writing skills to explain business requirements and concepts in training content.

Nice-to-haves

  • Advanced PowerPoint skills preferred.
  • Background in instructional design is a bonus.
