About the position

The Training and Change Management Specialist is a contract role focused on developing and managing training content for a global audience, specifically for a Specialty Chemical Client in The Woodlands, TX. This position involves creating actionable deliverables, supporting change management initiatives, and ensuring effective communication and training delivery across diverse teams.

Responsibilities

  • Create and manage training content for a global audience in English, Spanish, and Portuguese (Brazil).
  • Review and copyedit content developed by other team members.
  • Enable the design, development, delivery, and management of key communications across multiple channels.
  • Provide input, document requirements, and support the design and delivery of training programs.
  • Identify and manage anticipated and persistent resistance to change.
  • Create actionable deliverables such as the Resistance Management Plan.
  • Evaluate and ensure user readiness; track and report issues.
  • Define and measure success metrics and monitor change progress.
  • Support change management at the organizational level among global cross-functional teams.
  • Meet with subject-matter experts to ensure communication milestones and training topics are addressed.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Organizational Development, Education, Communications, Psychology, or a related field is desired.
  • Certifications in Change Management, Training, or Project Management preferred.
  • 2+ years of experience creating, managing, and delivering training programs tailored to diverse, global audiences.
  • Experience in content creation and management for a multilingual audience or experience collaborating with translation/localization experts.
  • Proven ability to communicate complex information clearly and effectively for diverse audiences across multiple channels.
  • Ability to adapt training and change management strategies to accommodate a range of organizational cultures, languages, and training needs.
  • Proficiency in e-learning and training platforms (e.g., Articulate, Captivate, Learning Management Systems) is desired.
