About the position

The Training Coordinator for Electrical and Automation is responsible for delivering technical instruction on Advanced Manufacturing topics to local industry clients. This role involves developing and updating technical curriculum, collaborating with sales personnel to organize training offerings, and ensuring quality delivery of training based on client needs. The position requires travel around northwest Ohio to meet the demands of clients.

Responsibilities

  • Instruct Industrial Automation courses for industry as needed.
  • Determine and implement the technical training needs by working with the manufacturing and process industry.
  • Ensure quality delivery of technical skills training by determining and meeting the needs of the employers.
  • Facilitate and maintain cooperative relationships with outside agencies, including business and industry.
  • Develop and revise training/course materials as needed.
  • Coordinate and support part-time instructors.
  • Other similar duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Associate's degree or equivalent education and/or experience required in the manufacturing industry, specifically maintenance, controls, robotics, engineering, engineering technology.
  • At least 5 years of experience in designing and maintaining automation systems in a manufacturing or process environment.
  • Experience in delivering and developing industrial training preferred.
