About the position

The Training Coordinator position at the Technical College System of Georgia (TCSG) is a full-time role focused on conducting job and training analysis, developing training plans, and designing performance-based training for Quick Start project companies. The coordinator will work closely with a project team, instructional designers, and instructors to ensure the effective delivery of training programs. This position is essential for maintaining training quality and effectiveness, monitoring project activities, and researching new resources for industry skills assessment and training.

Responsibilities

• Conduct industry job and training analysis.
• Develop training plans and design performance-based training for Quick Start project companies.
• Coordinate a project team, instructional designers, and instructors to develop and deliver training.
• Create and implement processes to ensure quality and effectiveness of instructional materials and instruction.
• Monitor project activity and maintain training records.
• Conduct research to acquire new resources and technologies for industry skills assessment and training.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources Development, Instructional Design, Business, Engineering, Adult Education or a related field and two years business experience in a training environment.
• OR six years business experience in a training environment.
