About the position

The Training Coordinator position at the Technical College System of Georgia (TCSG) is responsible for conducting job and training analysis, developing training plans, and designing performance-based training for Quick Start project companies. This role involves coordinating a project team, instructional designers, and instructors to ensure effective training delivery, while also monitoring project activities and maintaining training records.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct industry job and training analysis.
  • Develop training plans and design performance-based training for Quick Start project companies.
  • Coordinate a project team, instructional designers, and instructors to develop and deliver training.
  • Create and implement processes to ensure quality and effectiveness of instructional materials and instruction.
  • Monitor project activity and maintain training records.
  • Conduct research to acquire new resources and technologies for industry skills assessment and training.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources Development, Instructional Design, Business, Engineering, Adult Education or a related field and two years business experience in a training environment.
  • Six years business experience in a training environment.

Nice-to-haves

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources Development, Instructional Design, Business, Engineering, Adult Education or a related field and four years business experience in a manufacturing training environment.
  • Eight years business experience in a manufacturing training environment.
