About the position

The Training Enablement Program Leader will play a pivotal role in enhancing the training operations within the healthcare and Life Sciences sector. This position requires a collaborative approach, working closely with Area Service Leaders (ASLs) to develop and implement individualized training plans that align with market needs and service areas. The successful candidate will utilize various analytical tools and insights from the teams they support to optimize training strategies and ensure effective execution. This role is integral to the Training Operations team, emphasizing a safety-first mindset and adherence to compliance standards as part of the Quality Management System and EHS policies. The Training Enablement Program Leader will also foster a culture of inclusiveness and personal development across the organization. In this role, the individual will be responsible for providing leadership in creating tailored training plans for onboarding new team members and ongoing employee development. They will generate monthly reports for field service representatives, identifying training needs and opportunities based on installed base data and service delivery analytics. The position also involves driving improvements in customer experience through efficient operations and effective communication processes. The leader will handle daily technical training escalations, collaborate with various stakeholders to resolve issues, and act as a subject matter expert in their areas of responsibility. Additionally, the Training Enablement Program Leader will work with regional and global education teams to integrate best practices into training operations. They will promote Lean methodologies and ensure continuous improvement in training demand models, which are crucial for tracking backlogs and planning headcounts. The role requires a proactive individual who can energize and develop teams while maintaining a focus on achieving educational commitments and enhancing overall training effectiveness.

Responsibilities

  • Provide leadership in collaboration with field service teams to create individualized training plans for onboarding and ongoing employee development.
  • Supply monthly reports to field service representative people leaders identifying training needs and opportunities for execution.
  • Drive improvements in customer experience through efficient operations and effective communication processes.
  • Lead and assist in daily technical training escalations, collaborating professionally to resolve issues cost-effectively.
  • Provide leadership and guidance for optimized organizational metrics related to field-based training demand and forecasting.
  • Act as a subject matter expert in areas of ownership and lead critical project execution across functions in a timely manner.
  • Work with regional leads and global education teams on shared support models for education and training, integrating best practices.
  • Collaborate with field service leadership on mentor identification, train-the-trainer sessions, and regional customer support for technical training inquiries.
  • Promote Lean methodology and execution in all operational aspects of training operations.
  • Drive continuous improvement of training demand models for backlog tracking and optimized utilization of training resources.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in a technical, healthcare, or business environment.
  • Demonstrated self-starter, self-directed, team-oriented individual who thrives in a fast-paced, dynamic business environment.
  • Project management experience with effective time management and organizational skills.
  • Experience in Operations or Customer Service with strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Solid problem-solving skills, including conflict management and solution proposal capabilities.
  • Self-motivated with a continuous improvement mentality to drive change management.
  • Ability to energize, develop, and build rapport with team members.
