About the position

The Training Facility Manager at Deployed Services LLC will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the training facility and outdoor range operations, ensuring a secure, efficient, and professional training environment for law enforcement personnel. This position requires a dynamic leader who can effectively manage the facility and range staff, coordinate with law enforcement agencies, maintain rigorous safety and training standards, and develop relationships with community stakeholders. The role involves directing a team to ensure that tasks are completed efficiently and timely by providing direction and support, delegating tasks, setting expectations, monitoring performance, delivering coaching and training, resolving conflicts, promoting accountability, and ensuring policy compliance. In this role, the Training Facility Manager will manage daily operations of the training facility, ensuring compliance with all federal, state, and local regulations. They will develop and implement strategic plans for all training, safety, and maintenance programs, oversee the facility statement of work, and ensure all government contractual obligations are met. Setting performance goals for the facility and evaluating success through regular assessments will be key responsibilities. The manager will also formulate and enforce facility, range, and property policies and procedures, supervise staff, and ensure all activities comply with standardized protocols and applicable safety standards. Additionally, the Training Facility Manager will coordinate scheduling and logistics for agency training sessions, conduct safety briefings, oversee emergency response procedures and drills, prepare budget plans, and manage purchase requests and estimates for facility operational needs. A general knowledge related to the use of equipment for facility maintenance, repairs, and upkeep is also required. Other duties may be assigned as necessary.

Responsibilities

  • Manage daily operations of the Training Facility, ensuring compliance with all federal, state, and local regulations
  • Develop and implement strategic plans for all training, safety, and maintenance programs

  • Ensure all activities and operations comply with standardized protocol and applicable safety standards
  • Coordinate scheduling and logistics for agency training sessions
  • Conduct safety briefings and oversee emergency response procedures and drills
  • Prepare budget plans, purchase requests, and estimates for Facility operational needs
  • Have general knowledge related to the use of equipment to perform general Facility maintenance, repairs, and upkeep
  • Other duties as assigned

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in facilities management, criminal justice, public administration, or related field; or any equivalent combination of relevant education, skills, training, and experience
  • 5+ years experience in leading and managing a team with leadership experience in building operations and/or facilities management
  • 5+ years experience in range management or law enforcement training environment required
  • Ability to obtain a Certified Range Safety Officer Certification, required
  • Ability to obtain a CPR/AED/First Aid Certification, required
  • Bilingual in English and Spanish, preferred
  • Must be able to travel within the Continental United States (CONUS)
  • Must be authorized to work in the U.S.
  • Must pass a drug test, motor vehicle record check, and background check after accepting a conditional offer of employment
