About the position

Suvi is seeking a qualified Training and Field Support Specialist to enhance our client's workforce by creating comprehensive course materials for analytical applications, conducting training sessions in both virtual and traditional classroom settings, and providing ongoing end-user support. Your expertise in training and development will play a pivotal role in ensuring the success and proficiency of our client's workforce. This position requires a deep understanding and mastery of analytical applications to proficiently instruct end users on system functionalities. You will be responsible for creating comprehensive training materials tailored for various courses, ensuring the effective transfer of knowledge to participants. Additionally, you will offer frontline field support, which encompasses ad hoc training, troubleshooting, and critical incident assistance. The role also involves travel to deliver training sessions, adapting to diverse locations as needed. Collaboration with stakeholders to implement and enhance training programs is essential, as you will actively participate in refining offerings to meet evolving needs.

Responsibilities

  • Acquires a deep understanding and mastery of analytical applications to proficiently instruct end users on system functionalities.
  • Creates comprehensive training materials tailored for various courses, ensuring the effective transfer of knowledge to participants.
  • Offers frontline field support, encompassing ad hoc training, troubleshooting and critical incident assistance.
  • Undertakes travel to deliver training sessions, adapting to diverse locations as needed.
  • Collaborates with stakeholders to implement and enhance training programs, actively participating in refining offerings to meet evolving needs.

Requirements

  • Active Top Secret clearance with SCI eligibility.
  • Experience developing and delivering training to intelligence personnel focused on using systems and tools to support analytic workflows.
  • Experience using analytic tools and databases to support intelligence analysis and production.
  • Knowledge and experience in Analyst's Notebook, Palantir, analytical tools.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills and outstanding customer service.
  • Intermediate level experience in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.).
  • Ability to perform data analysis and presentation using Excel statistical methods, charts, and pivot tables.
  • Ability and availability for 25% travel.

Nice-to-haves

  • A formal education in an IT subject, training, or education-related field is desired.
  • Experience in a technical support position or training in a Windows-based IT environment (3 years of experience is preferred). Full-time internships may count for this experience.
  • Experience with Intelligence Community (IC) operations, platforms, functions, and terminology (two (2) years of experience preferred).
  • Experience supporting IT training delivery and curriculum development for US Federal agencies or experience in an IT helpdesk/call center or similar work processes (1 year of experience preferred).
  • Experience with Federal, State, or Local/Tribal Law Enforcement Agency operations (preferred).
  • Experience with Intelligence Community Agencies and processes, including the Intelligence Cycle (preferred).
  • Knowledge and experience in Intelligence specializations to include GEOINT and SIGINT, experience in using the Palantir platform, as well as the TAC government system, FADE, and ANB.
  • Familiarity with the ADDIE process for effective instructional design, Gagne's 9 Events of Instruction.
