The Training & Instructional Designer at RLDatix plays a crucial role in enhancing the educational experience for our customers, particularly those within the Department of Defense and Veterans Association. This position is designed for a professional who is passionate about creating effective learning materials and delivering training that meets the specific needs of our clients. The successful candidate will be responsible for applying best practices in instructional design to develop and deploy educational content that optimizes learning outcomes. This includes conducting thorough research and collaborating with Subject Matter Experts to ensure that the training materials are relevant and effective. In this role, you will be expected to meet with customers on-site to deliver training on our software solutions, which requires a strong understanding of our products and the ability to communicate complex information clearly. You will also devise modes of assessment, such as tests or quizzes, to measure the effectiveness of the training courses you create. Additionally, the role involves creating multimedia elements, including video, audio, and graphic components, to support both online and project-based learning initiatives. The ideal candidate will have experience with tools such as Articulate Rise 360, Storyline, Camtasia, and SnagIt, and a proven track record of developing comprehensive curricula. A deep understanding of learning theories and instructional design models is essential, as is the ability to travel within the US and Canada up to 25% of the time. This position requires a sincere interest in learning new technologies and the ability to obtain government clearance, as it involves working closely with defense-related clients.
