About the position

As the Training Intern at Chobani, you will gain hands-on experience in a fast-paced manufacturing environment, focusing on how training impacts key performance metrics. This role involves supporting onboarding processes, assisting in content development, collaborating with subject-matter experts, and facilitating training sessions. You will also track, analyze, and report training data to enhance the effectiveness of training programs.

Responsibilities

  • Help develop or update training materials, such as presentations, guides, and standard operating procedures to support learning programs.
  • Work closely with floor supervisors and subject-matter experts to gather input and feedback for training content.
  • Assist in the coordination and execution of onboarding activities for new hires, ensuring a smooth transition into the plant environment.
  • Support and/or co-facilitate training sessions, both in the classroom and on the plant floor, covering various topics such as safety and job skills.
  • Track training-related documentation and data, report on training metrics, and analyze training-related data to evaluate effectiveness of training programs.
  • Contribute to the ongoing improvement of training programs, offering new ideas and perspectives.
  • Provide support to the Training team and other people-related initiatives as needed.

Requirements

  • Currently pursuing a degree in Human Resources, Organizational Psychology, Education, Communications, Business or related field.
  • Ability to clearly and concisely communicate (verbally and in writing) technical and non-technical content to diverse audiences.
  • Demonstrated ability to organize and manage multiple and often conflicting priorities.
  • Able to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Comfortable with speaking in front of groups of various sizes.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Able to adhere to manufacturing safety and hygiene standards.
  • Willing to flex working hours, if needed, to support training needs across different shifts.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience with and/or coursework in training, employee development, adult education, instructional design and/or media.
  • Previous experience in or exposure to a manufacturing or food production environment.
