About the position

The position of Training Management System Administrator at Republic Airways is crucial for the effective implementation, administration, and support of the approved Training Management System (TMS) for Flight Training. This role involves serving as the designated administrator for the TMS, which includes vetting and managing new software releases, providing system maintenance, and updating training activities within the TMS. The administrator will assist in rolling out new training policies and curriculum changes, ensuring that all electronic training grading forms are built and maintained accurately. Additionally, the role requires monitoring and supporting various integrations into and out of the TMS, managing the TMS ticketing system, troubleshooting technical issues, and documenting all current and future processes related to the TMS. The Training Management System Administrator will also provide technical training and support to the Flight Training Department staff, working collaboratively with other departments to define performance problems, design action plans, and implement effective solutions. This position is responsible for developing process improvements for Flight Training user groups within the TMS and ensuring adherence to policies and procedures documented within the Advanced Qualification Program (AQP) manuals, as well as any applicable regulatory requirements. The administrator will manage multiple high-complexity training development projects and perform special projects or other duties as assigned, making this a dynamic and impactful role within the organization.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the designated Training Management System Administrator for Flight Training.

  • Build electronic training grading forms and ensure their accuracy.

  • Manage the TMS ticketing system, including troubleshooting technical issues and submitting tickets.
  • Document all current and future processes related to the TMS.
  • Provide technical training and support to Flight Training Department staff.
  • Work with appropriate departments to define performance problems and implement solutions.
  • Develop process improvements for Flight Training user groups in the TMS.
  • Ensure system adherence to policy and procedures documented within the AQP manuals and regulatory requirements.
  • Manage multiple training development projects of high complexity.
  • Perform special projects or other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Three years of relevant experience administrating a learning management system.
  • Demonstrated ability to research, propose, design, implement, own, document, support, and operate tools/frameworks/software needed to maintain the TMS.
  • Extensive experience with Microsoft 365 suite.
  • Demonstrated ability to mentor and direct people.

Nice-to-haves

  • Bachelor's Degree in a related field.
  • Experience with Fox Qualtero Training Management System.
  • Experience with CFR 121 Airline Training program operations.
  • Experience in an Advanced Qualification Program.
