About the position

The Training Manager at Vyve Broadband is responsible for delivering comprehensive training programs focused on Fiber Optic technology and related areas. This role involves facilitating learning through various methods, supervising training sessions, and ensuring that training translates into improved performance. The Training Manager will also act as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) and assist in curriculum development, while managing projects and administrative duties associated with training delivery.

Responsibilities

• Deliver learning curriculum and programs focused on Fiber Optic technology.
• Facilitate learning through various delivery methods including classroom instruction, online learning, and hands-on labs.
• Supervise employees during training, tracking attendance and addressing behavior.
• Perform administrative duties related to training, including maintaining participant records and schedules.
• Commit to continuous learning and seek feedback to improve skills.
• Evaluate learning outcomes and provide feedback to learners and their managers.
• Act as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) in Fiber to assist with curriculum development.
• Participate in task forces and manage projects related to training initiatives.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent combination of training and/or work experience.
• Four years of training delivery work experience at a professional level.
• Three years of Fiber Optics experience.
• Two years of supervisory or management experience preferred.
• Successful completion of System Tech Sr. written and practical assessments or equivalent courses.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience in supervisory roles within training environments.
• Certifications related to Fiber Optics or broadband technology.
