As a Training Manager at DHL Supply Chain, you will play a crucial role in administering and facilitating training and development programs to ensure that all team members are adequately trained in accordance with corporate, OSHA, and legislative guidelines. Your responsibilities will include supporting activities for team members and ensuring that all processes are documented to meet company, regulatory, and corporate requirements. You will be instrumental in creating an environment that fosters personal accountability, integrity, trust, and customer focus within the Human Resources function. In this position, you will develop, maintain, and publish an annual training calendar for the Training Center, facilitating various key organizational training programs such as HS&E, MHE, CSCS, and onboarding best practices. You will also be responsible for developing and updating internal training program procedures, materials, manuals, and user guides to meet corporate onboarding training requirements. Your role will involve overseeing the planning, scheduling, and coordination of training events across campus locations, including start-ups, and leveraging learning technologies to manage the growth and development of the Training Center team. You will assess ongoing training needs using various formats and work closely with the Campus Field Safety Manager on any relevant safety changes or initiatives. Additionally, you will develop, track, and report on training metrics to evaluate the effectiveness of training programs at the Regional Training Center. Ensuring that systems are in place to maintain and manage training records will be a key part of your responsibilities, along with maintaining financial allocation documentation for training invoicing and coordinating the weekly allocation/reclass process. Collaboration will be essential in this role, as you will work closely with recruiting, operations, and functional support teams to ensure the effectiveness and delivery of weekly onboarding training. You will provide leadership and coaching to training supervisors in the areas of Safety, Quality, and CSCS Foundations training to ensure the effectiveness of all training programs. Building and maintaining good working relationships with the Learning and Development Team, local operations management teams, and the HR and recruiting team will be vital to ensure quality training and issue resolution. You will also update business leaders and campus business partners quarterly on training center activity, throughput, issues, and concerns, while overseeing the financial budget for the Training Center.
