About the position

The Training Program Manager at Spektrum is responsible for developing and delivering training modules for NATO's Common Funded Governance Model. This role involves collaborating with various experts to ensure effective training for new program teams and personnel, as well as incorporating best practices and lessons learned into the training curriculum. The position supports NATO's capability development initiatives and requires a strong background in program management and training development.

Responsibilities

  • Develop programme team training modules for the relevant Common Funded Governance Model (CFCDGM) stages managed in ACT.
  • Deliver the training modules to new programme teams established in ACT to manage emerging CF programmes.
  • Train new personnel assigned to ongoing CFCD programmes due to personnel rotation or addition.
  • Coordinate with the PMO Best Practice Section to incorporate lessons learned and updated procedures into training modules.
  • Coach and mentor programme teams on a continuous basis in cooperation with PMO programme coordinators.
  • Develop, update and deliver a 3-day CAPDEV Newcomers Orientation course.
  • Cooperate with STRATMAN P3 Management in the P3 & Capability delivery course.
  • Advise on annual Industry Best Practice Training for HQ SACT.
  • Provide CAPDEV cross-functional related training in cooperation with HR Branch HQ Staff Training coordination.
  • Act as the Capability Development Functional Area SME for the Requirements Authority Representative.
  • Conduct Training Requirements Analyses and Training Needs Solutions for CFCDGM related training.
  • Cooperate with NSO in the development and delivery of training sessions in CFCDGM related courses.
  • Work with Distributed Learning in the proposal and delivery of CFCDGM related training for the JADL platform.

Requirements

  • At least 3 years of experience in developing and/or leading training, ideally related to NATO Global Programming.
  • Minimum of two 3 years working in a national defence organization, a multinational organization or, ideally, NATO Command or Force Structure.
  • Minimum of 3 years' experience in Programme Management, ideally working with the NATO Common Funded Capability Delivery Governance Model for capability development and implementation.
  • Certified qualification in Programme and Project Management (Axelos or similar methodologies).
  • Bachelor's degree (desirable Master's degree) in a related field.
  • Business English proficiency.
