About the position

The Training Specialist will lead in-person and virtual training sessions for newly hired team members, ensuring a positive first impression during the onboarding process. This role involves planning, organizing, and facilitating training events while maintaining accurate training records and developing effective training materials.

Responsibilities

• Plan and facilitate initial and ongoing team member training.
• Organize and schedule event logistics for training sessions.
• Design and prepare materials for in-person and virtual training classes.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date training records.
• Develop effective training materials utilizing various media.
• Plan, organize, and facilitate employee development and training events.
• Develop and maintain an organizational training calendar.
• Conduct follow-up studies to evaluate and measure training results.
• Collaborate with the Team Member Resources (TMR) team to address learning needs.
• Research training best practices and stay current with new techniques.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• One to three years of experience working with individuals with disabilities.
• Experience in a training role with hands-on instructor experience preferred.
• Mandt and CPR Instructor certifications preferred (will be provided upon hire).
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong presentation skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or similar software.
