About the position

The Trainer will be responsible for operationalizing training initiatives at the Chowchilla manufacturing plant, focusing on new employee orientation, safety, and production operations. This role involves researching, developing content, delivering training, and evaluating its effectiveness to enhance performance, efficiency, productivity, safety, and employee engagement.

Responsibilities

• Operationalize training initiatives for new employee orientation, safety, and production operations.
• Research and develop training content tailored to manufacturing processes.
• Deliver training sessions for new hires and current employees on safety protocols and equipment operation.
• Create and maintain a training calendar to schedule all training sessions.
• Organize logistics for training sessions, including equipment and materials preparation.
• Monitor and follow up on the completion of training programs to ensure compliance.
• Collaborate with production, quality, and maintenance teams to align training with operational needs.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to work weekends and nights.
• Proficient in Microsoft applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams, etc.).
• Ability to read and write in English.
• Strong communication skills with team members and supervisors.
• Dependable and punctual with a commitment to safety protocols.
• Collaborative mindset and ability to work well in a team or independently.
• Basic troubleshooting skills, both written and verbal.
