About the position

The Transaction Banking Operations - Client Implementation Associate role at Goldman Sachs involves managing complex client implementations in the transaction banking domain. This position is crucial for enhancing client experiences during their onboarding and implementation journey, ensuring a seamless transition from pre-go-live to business as usual. The role requires collaboration with various internal teams and stakeholders to address challenges, streamline processes, and deliver value to clients while maintaining compliance and risk management standards.

Responsibilities

  • Own client pre-go-live lifecycle end to end, ensuring a differentiated client experience through onboarding and implementation stages.
  • Provide implementation subject matter expertise across transaction banking products and services, advising clients on Treasury solutions.
  • Partner with Sales and internal teams including Legal, Risk, and Compliance to cater to clients of varying complexity.
  • Unblock issues and challenges for clients or internal deliverables, employing creative problem-solving techniques.
  • Build and manage detailed project plans capturing all aspects of the go-live process.
  • Ensure robust and compliant delivery of value to clients by focusing on risk and controls, processes, and procedures.
  • Establish effective communication channels and governance with clients and internal stakeholders to ensure transparency and accountability.
  • Support clients during the early stage post-go-live, ensuring a seamless transition to business as usual.
  • Identify and implement process efficiencies and automation to streamline onboarding processes and reduce go-live timelines.
  • Train, lead, and develop team members to maximize their potential.

Requirements

  • BA/BS degree
  • 2+ years of professional experience in a banking or client-facing role
  • Experience in Transaction Banking client implementation with knowledge of transaction banking products and services
  • Working knowledge of ERP and TMS systems and host-to-host connectivity mechanisms
  • Solid project management skills with the ability to create organization and structure
  • Process-oriented thinker capable of simplifying complex processes
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a focus on building relationships
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and a passion for learning
  • Experience in building, training, and scaling teams.
