About the position

The Transaction Banking Operations Analyst role focuses on monitoring payments, credit, and client/firm risk within Goldman Sachs' Transaction Banking division. This position is integral to delivering client service excellence while managing risk and supporting the development of innovative banking products. The analyst will collaborate with various internal teams to enhance operational efficiency and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities

• Act as the first line of defense for payment and credit monitoring.
• Support the full suite of Transaction Banking product offerings including Deposits, Escrow, and Global Payments.
• Lead the local Monitoring Team as part of the Global Transaction Banking Operations team.
• Deliver client service excellence while launching and evolving new Transaction Banking products.
• Develop and implement best practices for efficient international payment movement.
• Collaborate with internal teams and clients to manage queries related to payments and accounts.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree with 3+ years of relevant experience.
• Experience in Client Service or Operations within Transaction Banking or Payment Processing.
• Strong interpersonal and leadership skills.
• Proficient in client support and credit/risk management oversight.
• Good understanding of FX business and International Payment Servicing.
• Proven analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
