About the position

The Transaction Banking Technical Product Manager role is a pivotal position within the Channels Product team, which is dedicated to enhancing client connectivity through various digital channels such as host-to-host, API, and webhook integrations. This role is designed for a professional who is passionate about building and executing a product vision that prioritizes client experience and integrates seamlessly with payment activities. The ideal candidate will be responsible for defining a comprehensive product roadmap that encompasses connectivity administration, payment initiation, reporting, and other client-facing capabilities. This position requires a blend of strategic and tactical thinking, as the manager will need to identify industry trends and client needs while guiding interdisciplinary teams to deliver innovative products to market. In this role, the Product Manager will develop and execute a clearly defined product roadmap aimed at creating client-centric APIs and features that facilitate easy access to Transaction Banking functionalities and data in real-time. The manager will also establish Agile rituals to promote ongoing communication and iterative refinement of product capabilities. Key responsibilities include owning the delivery of product offerings, building business cases, defining requirements, and developing go-to-market strategies. The role demands a strong focus on data-driven decision-making to uncover opportunities and track product performance, as well as a proactive approach to managing risks associated with product development in a regulated industry. Collaboration is essential, as the Product Manager will work closely with various internal partners, including business teams, product teams, and enterprise technology organizations. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of cash management and payments needs for corporate clients, along with experience in navigating legal, compliance, and regulatory requirements. This position is not only about managing products but also about evangelizing digital platform capabilities to sales and implementation partners, ensuring that the products meet the evolving needs of clients in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute a clearly defined product roadmap to build client-centric APIs & features that allow easy access to Transaction Banking features and data programmatically and in real-time.
  • Identify industry and client needs and disruption opportunities, guiding interdisciplinary teams to deliver innovative products to market.
  • Establish or participate in Agile rituals which establish rhythm for the team, promote ongoing communication, and iterative refinement of capabilities.
  • Own direct delivery of key product offerings including building business case, requirements, go-to-market and commercialization strategy, testing and ongoing product management and monitoring.
  • Evangelize digital platform capabilities with our Sales, Implementation and Servicing partners and support Go to market execution of products.
  • Regularly and systematically use data to uncover opportunities, track product performance, and drive decision making.
  • Think deeply about the risks facing our products and technology; Manage these risks transparently along with 2nd and 3rd lines of defense.
  • Develop and nurture collaborative working relationships with key internal partners including business teams, various product teams, and enterprise technology organizations.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree or military experience.
  • At least 3 years of experience in Digital Product Management.
  • At least 1 years' experience in Treasury Management and/or Corporate Payments.

Nice-to-haves

  • Bachelor's Degree in Economics, Computer Science or Engineering.
  • MBA or Master's degree.
  • 3+ years of experience translating business strategy and analysis into Corporate facing digital products.
  • 3+ years of experience in product management.
