About the position

As a Transaction Manager - Healthcare at CBRE, you will oversee real estate transaction activities for a healthcare client, managing a defined portfolio of commercial properties. This role involves implementing real estate plans aligned with client goals, negotiating terms, and ensuring timely transaction completion. This is a temporary position expected to last approximately 12 months.

Responsibilities

• Implement real estate plans with an understanding of the client's strategic real estate goals.
• Act as a landlord or seller agent and tenant or buyer agent to effectively negotiate business terms and conditions.
• Coordinate the negotiation of sales through a field broker, including leases and lease amendments.
• Locate and acquire new properties to meet the client's requirements and timeline.
• Disposition of surplus space through subleasing, sales, or early lease terminations.
• Review, evaluate, and interpret financial analysis templates.
• Track transaction and project activity, recording savings results and preparing reports.
• Maintain a real estate project tracking system to ensure timely transaction completion.
• Improve and change existing methods, processes, and standards.
• Lead by example and model behaviors consistent with CBRE RISE values.
• Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve day-to-day and moderately complex issues.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree preferred with 3-5 years of real estate transactions or related experience.
• Real Estate salesperson license required.
• Ability to guide the exchange of sensitive and complicated information.
• Leadership skills to motivate team impact on quality, efficiency, and effectiveness.
• In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Office products, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
• Extensive organizational skills with a strong inquisitive approach.
• Sophisticated math skills for financial-related calculations.

Nice-to-haves

• Healthcare transactions experience is a plus, but not required.
