About the position

As a Transaction Manager at JLL, you will play a pivotal role in helping clients strategize, evaluate, and execute real estate transactions that align with their business and occupancy needs. This position requires you to manage and execute both purchase and lease transactions while fostering strong client relationships and driving business growth. You will work independently and collaboratively with a diverse team of professionals across various disciplines and business units. Your ability to manage projects to successful outcomes, think strategically, and act proactively will be essential in this role. In managing client relationships, you will assume key transaction responsibilities, providing full-time on-site support to clients. This includes offering advice on transactions, attending regular client meetings, and managing transaction reporting to enhance internal processes. You will also be responsible for organizing building tours for clients and prospects, ensuring a seamless experience throughout the transaction process. On the execution side, you will assist in managing a large volume of commercial real estate transactions, representing clients as both tenants and landlords. Adhering to JLL's and the client's processes and standards is crucial. You will utilize JLL's lease administration tool to track critical dates, manage documents, and provide insightful reporting. Your responsibilities will also include collecting client requirements, reviewing market data, overseeing site selection, negotiating letters of intent, leases, and purchase agreements, and preparing client approval packages. Your goal will be to deliver measurable value by negotiating favorable terms based on market conditions and tracking progress according to key performance indicators (KPIs). Additionally, you will support the client's legal team in facilitating compliance processes for all transactions.

Responsibilities

  • Manage client relationships by providing full-time on-site support and attending regular meetings.
  • Execute and manage a large number of commercial real estate transactions as both a Tenant and a Landlord.
  • Utilize JLL's lease administration tool to track critical dates and manage documents.
  • Collect client requirements and oversee site selection and evaluation.
  • Negotiate letters of intent, leases, and purchase agreements, and prepare client approval packages.
  • Monitor progress of all transactions to ensure timely completion using JLL's transaction tracker tool.
  • Review commission invoices for accuracy and ensure accounting processes are updated regularly.
  • Support the client's legal team in facilitating compliance processes for all transactions.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree with a minimum of 4 years of experience as a Transaction Manager or equivalent commercial real estate transaction experience.
  • Real Estate License is required.
  • Proven skills in lease documents and purchase and sales agreements.
  • Experience working with corporate clients to achieve real estate objectives with excellent service.
  • Solid understanding of financial and accounting impacts of owning and leasing real estate.
  • Strong verbal and written communication and presentation skills.
  • Exceptional negotiating, communication, collaboration, organization, and process skills.
  • Strong ability to interpret and communicate business intelligence/data analytics.
  • Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Word), Google Sheets, and Lease Admin Software.
