About the position

The Transfer Pricing Analyst position at UHY involves providing economic and industrial research, transfer pricing documentation, and scenario management. The role requires effective communication with clients and engagement staff, planning and directing document collections, overseeing complex analyses, and coordinating reporting requirements. The ideal candidate will demonstrate advanced technical knowledge and the ability to manage client engagements effectively.

Responsibilities

• Conduct financial analysis of client operations for technical matters.
• Explain economic and industry-related matters to clients.
• Demonstrate knowledge of technical aspects of the job, including necessary systems and procedures.
• Handle complex tasks and projects within the discipline/function.
• Evaluate complex technical issues and assist management in problem-solving.
• Demonstrate understanding of interrelationships with other departments.
• Communicate advanced technical knowledge effectively in written and verbal forms.
• Assist management in planning and managing engagement activities.
• Manage day-to-day tasks and activities pertinent to client engagement.
• Ensure quality control procedures are executed and manage risk.
• Coordinate various phases of engagement with management.
• Respond timely and accurately to internal team and client requests.
• Seek new ideas and better ways to accomplish job and company goals.

Requirements

• 1-2 years in a relevant position or significant academic background.
• Minimum Bachelor's degree in accounting, Finance, Economics, or related fields.

Nice-to-haves

• Basic understanding of transfer pricing; experience in transfer pricing is a major plus.
• Ability to write effectively and meet deadlines.
• Comfortable in client-facing interactions.
• Proactively seeks knowledge, new tasks, and responsibilities.
