TRU-Ryde Transit is seeking dedicated individuals for part-time and full-time Transit Driver and Transit Monitor positions. The role involves providing safe and reliable transportation services to adults with and without disabilities, ensuring they reach medical appointments and day programs. Responsibilities

• Drive company vans to transport clients to various destinations.
• Monitor and assist passengers during transit, ensuring their safety and comfort.
• Maintain vehicle cleanliness and report any maintenance issues.
• Complete necessary paperwork and documentation for each trip.
• Provide exceptional customer service to clients and their families.

Requirements

• Valid Driver's License for at least 1 year (for Drivers).
• No more than 3 moving violations in the last 7 years (for Drivers).
• No felonies in the last 7 years or consistent criminal record (for Drivers).
• Ability to pass a drug test (for Drivers).
• Valid state or federal ID (for Monitors).

Nice-to-haves

• Experience in transportation or customer service roles.
• Knowledge of local routes and traffic regulations.
